Christina MacCarrick has been involved in social media since 2007, and has a background in Marketing and Public Relations. After having kids, Christina starting blogging on a whim as a way to vent about her new life as the “CEO” of her family. A 2010 Nickelodeon Parents Connect Top Parenting Blog nominee, she began reviewing products and working as a brand ambassador for companies such as Flip, General Mills, and Soda Stream.
Christina soon realized how important it is for busy moms to have a hyperlocal internet source to visit for the latest information on products, services, and things to do with their children, & how worthwhile this source can be for local businesses and brands. It was then that she revised her blog and launched Jersey Shore Families, where she not only provides useful information to a rapidly growing audience, but helps local advertisers step into the world of online media.
Christina sees how important it is for businesses to have a significant online presense, and enjoys working alongside them to develop personalized digital media strategies for their brand.
